چکیده

The natural frequencies and vibration modes of tank's protective capacitance with welded joints defects under axial static load are determined in order to construct a diagnostic model monitor the propagation. Computer simulation dynamic behavior using computer finite element analysis system NASTRAN was performed. design form cylindrical thin-walled shell allowance for belts from weld rolled sheet built. Weld as two through horizontal cracks located welds between first second were presented. crack width equaled sheets diameter. For assessing effect propagation on characteristics length increased until single continuous crack. allowed generalize different types predict critical state. Determination performed stages. At stage, stress-strain state nonlinear formulation investigated total stiffness matrix (linear geometric) formed. problem approximation Lagrange possible displacements principle formulated. Newton-Raphson stepwise loading method (Nonlinear Static) used. by Lanczos (Param Modes) solving eigenvalue problem. action evaluated. results showed that presence an their increase reduced values frequencies. compressive thin wall can both reduce its rigidity, thereby changing frequency modes. According authors, consideration such should be present calculations shells, especially stochastic loads (wind, seismic, etc.).

variation of natural frequencies between modes

it has been proved that natural frequencies are stationary at the natural modes. also it has been shown that at the first mode it is a minimum and for systems with finite number of degrees of freedom the highest frequency is maximum (reference 1 and 2). beyond these statements nothing more can be said about the behavior of the natural frequencies without defining precisely the manner in which t...

investigation of the stability and vibration of cracked columns under compressive axial load

in this paper, a new analytical method is proposed to study the effect of crack and axial load on vibration behavior and stability of the cracked columns. using the local flexibility model, the crack has been simulated by a torsional spring with connecting two segments of column in crack location. by solving governing eigenvalue equation, the effect of crack parameters and axial load on the nat...

Vibration Analysis of Thick Functionally Graded Beam under Axial Load Based on Two-Dimensional Elasticity Theory and Generalized Differential Quadrature

In this paper, vibration analysis of thick functionally graded beam with simply supported boundary condition under constant axial load is studied. The beam has a uniform cross-sectional area and the mechanical properties of the fungtionally graded beam are assumed to be vary through the thickness of the beam. Fundamental relations, the equilibrium and stability equations based on the displaceme...

Free Vibration of Functionally Graded Beams with Piezoelectric Layers Subjected to Axial Load

This paper studies free vibration of simply supported functionally graded beams with piezoelectric layers subjected to axial compressive loads. The Young's modulus of beam is assumed to be graded continuously across the beam thickness. Applying the Hamilton’s principle, the governing equation is established. Resulting equation is solved using the Euler’s Equation. The effects of the constituent...
